Adina, who grew up on the Czech-Polish border, leaves her small village to study in Berlin. She meets a fascinating photographer there and navigates the Bohemian culture. In the wake of a sexual assault, she flees to Helsinki, where she tries to rebuild her life with Leonides, an activist and member of the European Parliament.
