Blue Woman: Book Presentation and literary talk with Antje Rávik Strubel

The author Antje Rávik Strubel presents her novel Blue Woman, winner of the German Book Prize 2021, in the Sala Boari des Palacio de Bellas Artes. The event provides a direct insight into her style of writing and the essential topics of her work: gender-based violence, migration and justice.

Alongside Aemilia Sámano, the author talks about the creative process, the narrative voice and the novel’s relevance today.

The event will be in German with simultaneous interpretation into Spanish by Claudia Cabrera and Dorothea Hemmerling. There will also be time for questions from the audience in the end.
