Oekom Publishing House for Ecological Communication has been working in the field of ecology and sustainable development since 1989. At first, the aim was to create an intellectual platform for green ideas and alternative concepts. Today, Oekom is a leading German ecological publisher. Every year it publishes around 80 new books and 12 magazines, with a total readership of about 660,000.
