Christine Nöstlinger (1936–2018), has published more than a hundred books for children and young readers which have been translated into many languages. She has received numerous awards, among them the Hans-Christian-Andersen Medal, the Astrid-Lindgren-Memorial-Award and in 2011 she was awarded the Corine International Book Award, for her outstanding lifetime achievements in literature.

Anke Kuhl, born in 1970, writes and draws for the Frankfurt-based author’s cooperative “labor”. She’s received many awards already, among them the German Children and Youth Literature Award (2011).

Raffaela Schöbitz (*1987) works as a freelance illustrator and author, illustrates with pencil, ink and watercolour, often also with mixed-media collages, and most recently with digital media. She was awarded with Austrian Children’s and Youth Book Prize Collection, IBBY, World Illustration Award, Outstanding Artist.
