What do wolves eat and how do they hunt their prey? And why is the wolf related to the dog? With this book from the WAS IST WAS First Reading series, first-time readers will be on the trail of impressive predators. Photos of the animals' physique, factual knowledge about wolf packs and astonishing facts about life in the wild show whether they really are as dangerous as their reputation.

Five teenagers drive to a house out in the country in order to study for their final exams. On the way, they pick up a young hitchhiker who infuriates them so much that they desert him at the gas station and throw his bag out the window. A fateful mistake. Because next morning, the hitchhiker is standing at the front door – accompanied by two young men. They force their way into the house and start terrorising the teenagers.
