The Argentinean writer María Cecilia Barbetta was born in the Ballester district of Buenos Aires, has lived in Berlin for 25 years and writes in German. The setting for her novels "Aenderungsschneiderei Los Milagros" and "Nachtleuchten" is her native Buenos Aires.
