Presentation of "Valós Idők" (real-time era) by Tonio Schachinger
A distinctive coming-of-age story set simultaneously in a tradition-rich, elitist Viennese school and in the world of computer games. The novel holds up a mirror to society, revealing much about the relationship between power, manipulation and freedom. In 2023 it was awarded the German Book Prize and was also selected as novel of the year.
