Merete Franz (1972) is a translator and director of Litteraturhuset in Skien. In addition to Abbas Khider, she has translated 1000 Serpentinen Angst (1000 Serpents of Fear) by Olivia Wenzel (to be published by Solum Bokvennen forlag in 2022), as well as a number of children's and young adult books into Norwegian, also published by Solum Bokvennen forlag. Merete Franz was one of the initiators of the German-Norwegian Literature Festival 2019.
