Labor Ateliergemeinschaft

Anke Kuhl (*1970) did not want to fend for herself after her studies and initiated the "Lab" in 1999. Since then she has worked on numerous children's books, drawing and writing, on picture books, novels and non-fiction. In 2015 she published her first comic. 
Anke Kuhl has received several awards, including the German Youth Literature Award for "Alles Familie" and the Leibinger Comic Book Award for "Manno!".

The Labor Ateliergemeinschaft is an association of six freelance illustrators, graphic designers and authors in Frankfurt am Main. The members are: Anke Kuhl, Jörg Mühle, Zuni Fellehner and Kirsten Fabinski (von Zubinski), Philip Waechter and Natascha Vlahovic. 
In this composition, they have been working on their own projects for many years, but also perform as a community. The group has become known through its successful activity books, exhibitions and workshops.
