Simar Halwany is a Lebanese fine artist, living in the UAE. She has a Masters Degree in Illustration at Mimaster Illustrazione, Milano,Italy and a B.A from the Fine Arts Department (Beaux Arts) in 2000. Simar is using different drawing techniques, her specializations are painting and etching. A number of her books have won awards for best illustrations. Her book “BOO” and its original illustrations have been displayed at the art exhibition of illustrations from the Arab world, “From Marrakesh to Baghdad”, in Munich (October 2019 - April 2020).
