Jan Trna (*1990) studied German teaching and translation at the Masaryk University Faculty of Philosophy in Brno. During his studies, he was a visiting researcher at universities in Vienna, Regensburg, Würzburg, Greifswald and Saarbrücken. He currently works as a university and high school teacher. He also publishes texts on contemporary German-language drama, translation studies and literature didactics. As an interpreter, he has cooperated with the Moravian Library and the radio station Českým rozhlasem Vltava.
