Charlotte Kramer is the daughter of Dr. Manfred Kramer, longtime publishing director of ADEVA in Graz and of the former Faksimile Verlag Luzern. She studied history and cultural management in Graz, Paris and Salamanca and has become the owner of the leading German publishing house, Verlag Müller und Schindler, in 2002, as well as of  Faksimile Verlag (the former Faksimile Verlag Luzern) in 2017. The company headquarters, warehouse and bookshop are located in Simbach am Inn.
