She graduated from Marmara University (Archiving) Information and Document Management and has been working in the field of school librarianship since 2000. She was appointed as the Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa by the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) in 2018. She translated the IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) School Libraries Guide into Turkish. She is a member of the IFLA Standing Committee on Libraries for Children and Young Adults. Her work was included in the publication titled “Effective School Librarianship: Successful Professional Practices from Librarians around the World” (ISBN: 978-1771886567). She worked as a K12 consultant in the pilot study for secondary school students to gain information literacy skills within the scope of the “Protocol for Cooperation in Education” signed between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of National Education of Turkiye, and in the OKUYAY Platform carried out by the Turkish Publishers Association. She is a Board member of the Turkish Librarians Association’s Istanbul Branch. She continues her professional life as the Manager of Koç School Libraries.
Marmara Üniversitesi (Arşivcilik) Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi mezunu olup 2000 yılından bu yana okul kütüphaneciliği alanında çalışmalar yürütmektedir. International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) tarafından 2018 yılından Ortadoğu ve Kuzey Afrika Bölgesi Direktörü olarak atanmıştır. IFLA Okul Kütüphaneleri Rehberi ‘ni Türkçe’ye çevirmiştir. Turizm ve Kültür Bakanlığı ile MEB arasında imzalanan "Eğitimde İş Birliği Protokolü" kapsamında ortaokul düzeyindeki öğrencilerin bilgi okuryazarlığı becerilerine sahip olmalarına yönelik pilot çalışmada ve Türkiye Yayıncılar Birliği tarafından yürütülen OKUYAY Platformu’nda k12 danışmanlığı yapmıştır. TKD İstanbul Şubesi yönetim kurulu üyesidir. Profesyonel yaşamına Koç Okulu Kütüphaneleri yöneticisi olarak devam etmektedir.
