Jan Götze works as a Business Development Manager in the department International Labs at MVB, which belongs, besides the Frankfurt Book Fair, as a daughter company to the German Publishers & Booksellers Association. With its provided IT solutions, MVB is the backbone of the German book market. Together with the Frankfurt Book Fair, in 2017 they brought the technology of the German books in print (VLB) to the Brazilian book market. Jan joined MVB three years ago. In the beginning he was in the technical lead for the development of the Brazilian books in print platform Metabooks. Now he is in charge of the further internationalization of MVB products. Part of this is establishing Metabooks in Mexico. He has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and Process Engineering and a Master’s degree in Technology and Philosophy.
