Pascal Thibaut has been working since october 1990 as French correspondant in Berlin. He studied law (bachelor) before studying in Sciences Po Paris and the Centre de Formation des Journalistes. 

He has spent his first professional years working as an independent journalist for French and German media, until 1997, where he became correspondant for Radio France Internationale. 

He was awarded with the franco-german journalist prize and has run the German foreign press association for several years.
