What are your main focuses and goals?

Since I write poetry, I am looking forward to attend poetry readings and get to know German poets and publishers specialized in poetry.

What do you hope to get out of the Frankfurt International Translators Programme?

This will be my first visit of the Frankfurt Book Fair and I am delighted to take part of the Frankfurt International Translators Programme in 2023, since Slovenia will be the Guest of Honour this year.
By attending the Frankfurt Book Fair, I will have the chance to explore a wide range of books, authors, and publishers from different cultures and languages. I am sure, this will broaden my perspective, deepen my understanding of other languages and literatures, expand my reading horizons, and inspire me to discover new translation projects.
I am looking forward to get to know German publishers and authors, meet translators from other countries, form new networks and discover emerging, but also forgotten or overlooked German authors and books that would be interesting for Slovene readers.
