What are your main focuses and goals?
What inspires me about authors is their joy of storytelling and the fact that they always develop their own unique language for their stories. Having translated several novels by authors of my generation, I would like to make other voices heard and contribute to changing the conventional image of German-language literature in France by making its versatility accessible to French-speaking readers.
What do you hope to get out of the Frankfurt International Translators Programme?
I look forward to meeting colleagues from all over the world because encounters always broaden one's own literary and human horizons, and I am particularly excited about the exchange with publishers and authors.
