Born in Bonn in 1972, Thomas Maagh studied General and Comparative Literature, German Studies and Philosophy in Bonn and Berlin. In the summer semester of 2000, he worked as an assistant at the German Seminar of the University of Basel. Since 2001 he has been an editor and since 2010 also managing director at Verlag der Autoren, Frankfurt am Main. Since 2008 Maagh has been the editor of the anthology "Spielplatz" for contemporary theatre plays for children and young people and since 2014 he has been a board member of the Association of German Stage and Media Publishers. From 2008 to 2019, Maagh was a member of the Foundation Jury of the Association of German Stage and Media Publishers. Lectureships at the University of Basel, the Goethe University and the University of Music and Performing Arts, Frankfurt am Main.
