Christoph Schröder, born in 1973, studied literature and philosophy in Mainz and lives as a freelance author and critic in Frankfurt am Main. He writes for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit and the taz, among others, and is literary editor of the city magazine Journal Frankfurt. Since 2007, Christoph Schröder has been a lecturer in the "Literary Criticism" seminar of the "Book and Media Practice" funding programme at Goethe University in Frankfurt.
