Jürgen Jakob Becker is the managing director of Deutscher Übersetzerfonds (German Translator’s Fund) and deputy head of the Literary Colloquium Berlin (LCB), responsible for funding and event programs for literary translators. He directs the Summer Academy and the International Translators’ Meetings at the LCB and is one of the co-founders of the TOLEDO program under the umbrella of the German Translator Fund.
