Annette Beger, publisher of Kommode Verlag, studied acting in Berlin and singing in Essen, where she also sang at the Aalto Theatre for several years. She switched from the stage to management and in this context completed a Master's degree in Cultural Management at the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences). She founded Kommode Verlag in 2010 and is a board member of SWIPS Swiss Independent Publishers.
