Founded on March 6, 1995, CARTIER Publishing House established itself from the very beginning through a rigorous selection of titles and authors; through a diversity of ideas, series and collections, for all ages and levels of training; through up-to-date translations of the most important books of contemporary European thought; by developing encyclopedic reference dictionaries; through an annual average of about 80 titles and, last but not least, through its own distribution system in the best bookstores in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

The profile of CARTIER Publishing House is defined by the collections Cartier popular, Cartier istoric, Cartier de cocollection, Biblioteca deschisă, Rotonda, cARTier, Verde, Codobelc etc. Cartier books have won international awards such as the European Prize for Literature, the Prize for the Most Beautiful Book awarded by UNESCO Germany, the Gourmand Awards, but also numerous national prizes for literature and graphic presentation.
