GIZ Central America focuses on strengthening the capacities of Central Americans (individuals and institutions) to build a green and sustainable region for the well-being of its people. We have been working with Central America for more than half a century to help build a more inclusive, fair, and resilient region, supporting its efforts to protect nature and adapt to climate change, promote clean energy, and ensure good governance through efficient public management, transparency, and the promotion of respect for human rights. Together with partners and allies, we work to strengthen the capacities of individuals, institutions, and organizations to respond effectively to their main challenges, providing sustainable approaches and solutions over time.
