Ricarda Musser earned her Ph.D. in Romance Cultural Studies from Humboldt University in Berlin and holds a master’s degree in Information Science from the same university. She is a researcher at the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (Ibero-American Institute). She has worked on research projects focusing on digitization, the mobilization of objects, Latin American cultural magazines, and Ibero-American popular cultures. She is responsible for the collections from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Portugal and heads the Media Department of the Institute’s library. Her current research focuses on the European and international transfer of popular cultural phenomena, cultural magazines, and German migration to Latin America. She is the author of numerous publications and has curated various exhibitions.
