GEORGE CORNILĂ – writer, translator, and cultural journalist, editor at Curtea Veche Publishing and editor-in-chief of Matca magazine. For his novel Silex, he received the Observator Cultural Award (2025) and the Radio România Cultural Award (2025), and was nominated for the “Writer of the Year” Award, granted by the Writers' Union of Romania (2025), as well as for the Leibniz Prize for Fiction (2025).
