Tereza Polachová studied at FAMU and the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague. She has been Director of Content at Czech Television since 2023, where she oversees strategic planning and development of the television programme. Prior to this, she spent twelve years at HBO Europe as a creative producer and Head of Development and Production. Her credits include Agnieszka Holland's three-part drama Burning Bush (Hořící keř, 2013), Pustina (2016) which premiered in its entirety at the Toronto International Film Festival, and the miniseries The Sleepers (Bez vědomí, 2019).
