Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung
Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung (HSS) was founded in 1967 and is closely affiliated with the Christian Social Union (CSU). It is a German international cooperation organization that works “In the service of democracy, peace, and development” through political education at both the national and international levels. Its objectives are exclusively dedicated to the public good.
For more than 50 years, HSS has been committed to development cooperation and currently implements around 90 projects in approximately 75 countries worldwide.
The objective of its international activities is to promote dignified living conditions and contribute to sustainable development through the strengthening of peace, democracy, and the social market economy. In cooperation with its local partners, HSS carries out projects in the areas of training, education, research, and technical consulting.
