Melinda Nadj Abonji is a Swiss writer, musician and text performer of Hungarian origin from Vojvodina, whose artistic practice brings literature, music and performance closely together. Migration, multilingualism, minority experience and the search for home are central themes in her work. Her novel Tauben fliegen auf won both the German Book Prize and the Swiss Book Prize in 2010.
