Master's Student in Literary and Cultural Studies
Eötvös Loránd University
Ágnes Karcagi is a master’s student in Literary and Cultural Studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). Her research focuses on comparative approaches to Eastern European literatures, with particular emphasis on the memory of socialism; her interest in German culture was further shaped by a semester spent in Berlin as an Erasmus student. In her interactive workshop, three German children’s books serve as a starting point for exploring Berlin’s history and cultural significance, as well as the representation of major historical events from a child’s perspective.
