Borbála Blanka Besze is a teacher of English and Hungarian, an amateur creative writer, and a dedicated practitioner of calligraphy. Handwriting, note-taking, bookbinding and planner design all form part of her creative practice; in 2025, she received a Gold rating at the Szépírás a Kézírás handwriting competition. In her workshop, she uses classics of German literature to explore how handwriting and the visual appearance of a text can shape the experience of reading and interpretation.
