László Marosi is a Hungarian publishing professional and publishing executive whose career has been closely connected with the development of the Central Publishing Group and its imprints, including Animus Books. He joined the publishing industry in 2010, initially working as an editor, where he gained experience across the full range of publishing activities. Over time, he advanced into management and became a key figure in the group’s growth.
In March 2024, Marosi was appointed managing director of the Central Publishing Group. His responsibilities include strengthening the group’s established publishing brands and exploring new literary and commercial opportunities. His work is particularly associated with the continued development of Animus, known in Hungary for Scandinavian crime fiction, international literature, and the Hungarian editions of the Harry Potter series.
