"Voland & Quist stands for young contemporary urban literature. The press publishes mainly young German-language literature, spoken-word poetry, novels and short stories by central and eastern European writers, and children’s books.
The publishing house was awarded the Prize of the Hanna Johannes Arras Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Culture in Dresden in 2007, followed by the Kurt Wolff Advancement Award in 2010. It was among the recipients of the German Publishing Prize in 2019 and 2020."
