Sebastian Meschenmoser was born in 1980 and studied visual arts in Mainz. He is the author and illustrator of numerous picture books, several of which were nominated for the German Youth Literature Award. He illustrated a special edition of The Neverending Story (German original: Die unendliche Geschichte) by Michael Ende which was published in 2019. Sebastian Meschenmoser lives with his family in Berlin.
