Anne-Kristin zur Brügge was born in a small village near Oldenburg. She has studied German Literature and Cultural Sciences. Now she works as an editor at a children´s book publisher. From time to time she enjoys rhyming a book herself.

Stephan Pricken was born in Moers in 1972 and studied design at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, majoring in illustration. He has been a freelance illustrator and member of the Hafenstraße group in Münster since 2004.
