Toni can’t wait to go to Nessi’s pony farm and see her friends again! A week of riding holidays in Denmark—how amazing is that? But then a new pony appears that doesn’t seem to belong to anyone.

Where could it have come from? Even the usually calm Philipp is uncharacteristically excited. Then one morning, both he and the pony vanish without trace! Can Toni and her friends find them?

Antje Szillat began writing stories at the age of eight. Today she is a successful author of books for children, teenagers and adults. She lives with her family and many animals near Hanover.

Vanessa Holm (‘Nessi’) was born in Hamburg, but her love for horses and Hans took her to Denmark. There the well-known horse influencer lives on a farm with Hans, her two children and lots of animals. She has over 112,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares daily glimpses into her colourful ‘pony farm’ life.

Isabelle Göntgen was born in South Korea in 1977 and came to Germany as a baby. She studied visual communication and worked as a designer for various advertising agencies. Since 2006 she has been illustrating children’s books—the best job she could imagine!

Valija Zinck, born in 1976, worked as a choreographer and dance educator for many years before starting to create stories. Her earlier books have been widely translated. She lives in Berlin with her family.

Bente Schlick studied illustration design and now works as a freelance illustrator. Her clients include major publishers and agencies, and her illustrations have appeared on licensed products such as calendars, puzzles and stationery. She lives and works in Hamburg.

He lives in Berlin and New York.
