When mermaid Elli befriends a mistreated racing seahorse, she discovers the true meaning of courage, friendship – and standing up for what’s right.
When mermaid Elli injures her hand, she’s heartbroken – no more water polo training, no time with her team. Feeling left out and lonely, she joins her classmate Maris on a visit to the seahorse farm. There, Elli meets Stormi, a spirited racing seahorse who’s been mistreated by his owner and has lost all trust in merfolk.
With patience and kindness, Elli wins Stormi’s friendship – and soon, she feels freer and happier than ever, galloping through the waves on his back.
But just as their bond grows strong, Stormi’s cruel owner returns … and Elli must find the courage to protect her new friend.

Dancing dung beetles and the wonders of underground life....
Dancing dung beetles and the wonders of underground life.
Did you know that dung beetles dance on poop, spiders disguise themselves as ants, and some snails defend themselves by making farting noises? There are more organisms living in a single gram of soil than there are people on Earth. Moles, earthworms, woodlice, fungi, and trillions of tiny creatures ensure that plants grow, water stays clean, and valuable nutrients are produced from poop. They loosen the soil, recycle waste, and are the secret heroes of life!
