The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an industry leading event that has succeeded in bringing together a unique and diverse global audience thanks to 62 years experience. The result is the world’s premium copyright exchange hub when it comes to publishing which also extends to current multimedia and licensing businesses for children’s stories, illustration, animation and related areas.
The 2025 edition was attended by more than 1,500 exhibitors and 33,300 visitors arriving from about 95 countries and regions around the world.
You will find a wide range of children’s books and educational materials by German-language publishing companies and be able to connect with publishers, editors, rights managers and illustrators. One highlight at the stand will be the spring collection of German-speaking Rights List – Stories for Children & Young Adults and the the newly announced nominations for the 2026 German Youth Literature Prize!
