The Francophone book fair Foire du Livre in the heart of Europe is the meeting place for all those involved in the book industry: authors, illustrators, publishers, distributors, booksellers, critics, librarians and readers. 

The fair gains 80.000 visitors in four days, 315 exhibitors and more than 1200 authors. Consequently, there is a wide press coverage in TV, radio and press. The programme also offers a large number of professional events and seminars.

German Collective Stand (tbc)

The Foire du Livre de Bruxelles is currently one of the leading Francophone book fairs. The focus of this year's Guest of Honour is the German language, which is spoken mainly or in certain parts of six countries. This includes Belgium, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland. A wide-ranging programme of authors, a specialist programme with a focus on book-to-screen, independent publishers and comics & graphic novels is planned. The event is subject to funding by the Federal Foreign Office.
